An Nghiep Commune is a midland plain commune located 7 km west of the center of Tuy An District. Its administrative boundaries are as follows: to the East, it borders An Dinh Commune; to the West, it borders An Xuan, Xuan Phuoc, and Xuan Quang 3 Communes in Dong Xuan District; to the South, it borders An Linh Commune; and to the North, it borders An Dinh and Xuan Quang Nam Communes in Dong Xuan District. Administratively, it consists of four hamlets: Trung Luong 2, Trung Luong 1, The Hien, and Dinh Phong.

The terrain consists of hills and plains, with the Dt 650 Road running approximately 5 km through the area and the O Loan lagoon nearby. The commune has 1,602 households with a population of 5,160. In recent years, the economy of An Nghiep Commune has been steadily developing at a moderately advanced level. The economic structure has shifted in the right direction, with many scientific and technological advances being applied widely in agriculture, resulting in high efficiency. Initial investments have been mobilized to expand economic development, build infrastructure for production and daily life, and improve environmental management through waste collection contracts. Cultural and social activities have seen significant progress, with improvements in the material and spiritual life of the people; the strength of unity among the people has been strongly promoted, and the local political system has become increasingly clean and strong. The effectiveness and efficiency of State management are constantly improving, with good implementation of administrative reform and grassroots democracy. National defense is strengthened, political security is maintained, and social order and safety are ensured.
An Nghiep Commune is also one of the more developed communes in the western part of the district, with a moderately advanced economic growth rate. The State has enacted policies to support investment in local projects and rural transportation, with the community as a central participant.
